(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes / ~6 weeks ago.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 3 (with 3 more on the way)

(3) What breeds do you have? Will have to get back you on that. One of them supposedly lays green eggs though :)

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? Google.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Golf, skiing, brunching.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. My wife, Lauren, and I have two fur babies, Ted (Goldendoodle) and Parker (min pin). The chickens are our first non-dog pet. Been working on the coop for ~4 weeks and laugh every time I reminesce when I said I could build it in a weekend lol.

Oh boy does that sound familiar! Though I'm not at the laughing stage yet, and probably won't be until our coop is actually "done"!:p

Beautiful dog and adorable chicks! The front one (red with yellow legs) looks like my Production Reds

Welcome to Backyard chickens. How does the MinPin feel about the chicks?
I know my min pin didn't like chickens when we first had them. It took us a week to break her of chasing the chickens but now the chickens chase her!:lau
