Hi everyone,

My husband and I live on a small farm in Southern California. We raise bantam chickens as a hobby. We have been building our flock for almost a year now and have just hatched our second round of chicks as of yesterday!

I have used this site for a long time because it has so much awesome information. I finally made an account and want to say thanks to everyone for all of their knowledge and expertise and happy chicken raising!

i am going to try to breed Silkies i just got new chicks today at a poultry swap! We got... 5 Candy Corn Polish, 1 White Silkie, 1 Partridge Silkie, 1 Black Silkie, 1 Gray Silkie, 2 Cochin And Silkie Crosses, 1 Paint Silkie and 1 Buff Silkie.
