Hi, my name is Brandy. I am 45 years old. I have been married 26 years and we have a 20 year old daughter and a 16 year old son.

I first got chickens a little over 4 years ago. I started with 5 pullets and one turned out to be a rooster so I gave him to a friend with a farm. I have since adopted two and I have 3 more that I got in March as pullets. I decided to get ducks in March as well. I started with 5 but unfortunately a fox got one of my females a few weeks ago.

I have two Orpingtons, One American Arcuna, One Black Australorp, three Rhode Island Reds, one Isa Brown, and one Leghorn.

I also have the 4 ducks, an 11 year old black lab named Bella and two cats; Bruce and Copper.

I enjoy gardening, wood working, painting, racing cars, fishing and life in general.

I am excited to be a member of BYC and can't wait to explore the site!
