Hi all! Happy to be here. We just started with chickens a few months ago, when we got 4 baby chicks. We’ve been having a great time raising them and are getting close to our first egg from the original brood. We hit a bit of a rough patch recently when a raccoon attacked and we lost two of our chickens. Then, of the remaining two, I finally gave into the fact that one was a rooster, and we had to rehome him.

Now, we have 4 new chickens (1 laying hen, 1 pullet and two chicks) to add to our remaining one. The older 3 are still getting used to each other, but things are looking up!
