Hi everyone. Glad to be part of this group.
I live in the mountains of western Montana. I have seven chickens at the moment: 2 barred rocks, 2 Rhode Island reds, 2 black Australorps, and 1 Russian Orloff, all layers.
We (husband, daughter and I) are relatively new to chickens. We’ve had this flock for almost two years. They made it through last winter, which was the worst we’ve had in 20 years!
I’m a local pastor, husband is a nurse. Our kiddo is in elementary school.
Good to be here. Looking forward to being part of backyard chickens.
