Hi there! I'm new here and I'm trying to find out anything I can about Classic Old Frill Satinette Pigeons! I would really love to get a non-breeding pair for pet purposes. I know very little about them so far as Google is not yielding much information aside for show. I live in a large apartment and have recently been looking into Diamond Doves because I've only ever owned birds one other time many years ago and they were Parakeets. I don't want anything too loud or flighty/bitey. I want something calm and not screechy. I came across Satinettes when looking at breeder websites for Diamond Doves and now I'm trying to find out more information regarding care, housing, and temperament for these birds because they are gorgeous! All I can find so far is that they are highly regarded as affectionate pets.
All the help possible to find out if these are the right kind of birds for me and how to get them if possible would be greatly appreciated!
