You can't google a chicken question without a link to backyard chickens popping up in the search results, so here I am. My name is Crystal and I live in Indiana. I Can't wait to start learning and hopefully get some of my questions answered.

Hello and welcome to BYC - thanks for joining us.

This is a useful link of BYC guides to take a look at announcements-feedback-issues-guides.3 I’d suggest including your location using the guide in the link. You can use this link to contact members in your area - Find your State's thread.

Best wishes

You're right. This is the best place to get questions answered! There are so many helpful people here with real-life experience. Whether you already have poultry or you're thinking about getting some, BYC is a valuable asset.

Welcome to BYC!! It's a great place to roost!

Hi Crystal. Welcome to BYC! Glad you joined our happy flock. Yes, this is the best place to learn and share all things chickens (and turkeys, and ducks, and geese and...… anything with feathers!!!). Do you have chickens right now or are you in the planning stages? :highfive::highfive::wee

Hi Sarah,
Thank you for the welcome!
Right now I have only two little ducks (as of yesterday) and one old guinea ( long story). I haven't decided if I want any more chickens yet. I had some a few years ago and it turned into an all you can eat buffet for owls. . I'm kinda scared to try again.

Welcome to BYC.
