Super new to raising chicks! We started in March. We have 13 teenagers: two silkies, 2 buff orpington, 3 black asian, 1 barred rock, 4 americauna, 1 easter egger(maybe a roo).

8 one week olds: 4 rir, 2 americana, 2 barred rock.

If you want to keep those veggies, the chickens must stay out of the garden!! Mine decimated my garden last year. They are now kept in a 1/4-acre electronetted pen. It works out much better for the humans that way.
