Hi. I'm from Nottingham England and my parents keep chickens which I'm obsessed with. They have various bantom and have just incubatored some chicks which I'm hoping are hens but if they aren't I'm hoping I can rehome a rooster or two in my shed where the sound won't maybe travel through the brick walls.
I have a post with images of two of the chicks. Please help me identify gender if you have any clues. I love them both to pieces.

roosters are amazing! they have more character than pullets (in my opinion) but it is your choice.. i just love all genders even though others really only like pullets/hens and welcome to BYC
I really want to take the roos home and keep them but living on a council estate I need a way to stop the sound from traveling during early hours of the morning.
Roosters are stunningly beautiful too.

Hens are actually equally as loud, they make sounds too, keep them until you have a real problem or start searching for a farm, hens and roos are both loud but good luck finding a home

If you are not permitted roosters where you are, it is kindest to rehome them. Roosters crow. Some more often and obnoxiously than others.
