okay rule of thumb they say 4 square feet per bird you just make it chicken math there your 6 is your max but keep an eye out for one getting pecked yours is 36 square feet

I've seen 3 to 4 sq feet per bird so that's why I was thinking 10.

Iowa. No I wont be able to let them free range. My German Shepherd would probably eat them. I am going to attach small runs to the main run around and 1 through my garden. My garden is 28x28

Actually take the GSD on a leash give her a down in the coop and watch do this about 4 weeks you go dog goes also

I let him around them. He is very we trained but still a puppy. He brought up a baby bunny to my wife. He soft mouthed it and didnt harm it at all. I was shocked.

Nice looking kid being so young you will have a wonderful guard there for them I would put money on it best part never correct harsh stern No if he he wants to chase you may know all this already beautiful boy you know I like the long coat gene in them
