I am super new to this. However i have watched from the unnamed shadows for a while, especially if i need help with my chimis and google leads me here.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Fairly new, i have had them a year and half now
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
5 adult hens 7 youngins
(3) What breeds do you have?
The adult hens are; 2 Golden Comets, RIR, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Barred Rock
The 7 youngins are all of the above crossed with a gold/red wyandotte. I made a post about them if you want to see it.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They are hilarious to watch, and the eggs are a bonus
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I am a nursing student, so when i have the time (Which is uncommon) I like to ride horses, kayak, read and write
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Its just me and the hubby, 3 dogs, 3 cats, 3 snakes, and the chimis. Dont have a horse yet. gotta get out of school first. My profile picture is one of the 3 dogs as a 6 week ish old puppy.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
GOOGLE! I dunno, wanted to share and comment on stuffs, finally. Had questions.
