Hi I'm Kailene. I'm new to this community and am hoping to learn more about my ducks. I have 2 female ducks. A Rouen, Howard, who is laying currently and a Black Runner, Kurt. Yes they both have male names. I got them when they were about 2 weeks old and I couldn't have a duck and not name it Howard. And I liked the name Kurtwood. So that's how they got their names. Then found out they are female and the names just stayed. This will be my first winter with them. I live in Northeast Ohio and plan on leaving them in their own. I do have a heat lamp, a heated water bowl, and an enclosure for them. I also plan on tarping off there pen to help with the wind.

So I'm here to learn more about my girls and possibly down the road add to my ducks.
