Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a while and thought it was time to join and introduce myself. So here goes...
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Still fairly new -- we've had chickens for about 1.5 years now.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?
"Plucky" is a Gold Star (and the intrepid survivor of 2 fox attacks), "Fluffy" is a Buff Orpington, and "Pearl" is a Silver Laced Wyandotte
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Our chickens are so entertaining, the kids love them, and our whole family enjoys the fresh eggs.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Camping, ATVs/dirt bikes, horses, reading, sewing
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have two young children and two old dogs on a small acreage in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I've been lurking on the BYC forums since we first decided to get chickens and have gleaned many valuable tips and tricks. We're currently upgrading our tiny kit coop to a much larger custom-built coop (we're committed now!) and would love to get some advice from BYC veterans on layout.
