[Commo Dog]

First, I stink at technology so I hope I can figure out how to navigate this site. I also did a typo on my user name, it should be Commo Dog, not Coomo. Commo is short for Communications from my military days long ago. Anyhow, years ago we had a few RIR and enjoyed them. We had to move. I have been wanting to get back into a few layers. We now live out in the country on 2 acres. Going to try to get five RIR this Wednesday. I have a brooder in the form of a re-purposed dog kennel. Heat is correct and easy to adjust. I am in the process of designing a very simple raised coop. It will be a 4x8 with two feet under it for a dust bath etc.. The coop will open into a 20 by 60 run with 6 foot chain link and chicken wire over the top. I will have shade for them. Anyhow, a not so brief introduction. I thought I should join as I get on here all the time to get ideas from those that actually do things. thanks for all the help.
