Hello, I'm Skyle and I've been raising Light Brahma (and one Black Australorp) for almost an year. At the moment I've got a rooster, 3 hens (2 Brahmas and one Australorp) and 9 two-week-old chicks (I put some eggs under the broody hen too and they are going to hatch in 9 days). I have a dog and a cat too.
Sorry for my bad English, but it isn't my native language.

Congratulations on your broody and upcoming hatch! Have you done that before? It's incredible to experience. I have my second broody sitting. I just set her up last night with 8 eggs. All will be mixed breeds from two potential fathers.

I have Wyze cameras in my coop. They are a great way to spy on your broody momma without bothering the little family.
