(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am new to chickens! We planned on getting some when we moved into our new home at the end of June, but last week our roommate found a lone chick crying and wandering in the middle of the street and brought him home. SO I got him some companions and now we are chicken owners.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Four!
(3) What breeds do you have?
The found chick is currently breed unknown and the other 3 are Plymouth Rocks but 2 of them have started to grow feathers on their legs so I think there must be a cross?
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The draw of backyard chickens for me is from the perspective of pets. I love birds and they are so interesting to observe and live with.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy a lot of gardening and am in general sort of an animal enthusiasts.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Our family currently consists of me, my boyfriend, 2 dogs, a betta fish, and four chicks!

I found the site on Google! I'm a part of some betta fish forums as well so I knew it would be a good place to gather advice!
