Hi there!
Just introducing myself to the BYC community. My soon-to-be husband Matt & I got out first backyard flock of girls in March at 2-3 weeks old.
We have a Wellsummer named Louise, SLW Dorothy, a speckled Sussex named Louise, and an Ameraucana (or EE??) Opal. We plan for our girls to be used for eggs and love them as part of the family! Our dogs Duke (golden retriever) and Brady (cavalier spaniel) are thrilled about the new addition.
I found BYC super helpful as a brand new chicken mom and finally decided to join! Thanks everyone in advance for all the advice and helpful tips!
