I have had chickens for as long as I can remember!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
12!
(3) What breeds do you have?
2 Buff orpingtons
4 black and white Polish
3 Whiting True Green's
1 Barred Rock
2 unknown feather footed and slow growing chicks
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Watching how they behave, making friends with them, and hatching their eggs.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Writing, drawing, reading, and music!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a cat named Eira which means merciful in Norwegian, and as we speak I am hatching some geese eggs and have some goslings and ducklings coming in the mail!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Found BYC by scrounging the internet for answers to my poultry problems/questions lol. I have no idea how long I've known this platform existed, and I finally joined because I have questions that need answering pretty quickly in regard to my geese and their hatching! I also want some help figuring out what breed two of my chickees are lol.
