Hello

Welcome to BYC. Please keep an eye on your Drakes. A male duck can kill a hen chicken, attempting to breed her. Duck anatomy is quite different than that of a chicken. But drakes don't care.
Yes and the drakes can gang bang a female duck and smother her as we have found to our cost

Have a bit of a Doberman’s fetish myself, owned 6 to date two old sisters at present, so Will unfortunately be looking to replace in the not too far distant future, you have to just love them.
The gal in my avatar, Bella, is number 6. All adopted. She and her sister fought so her head and front legs have scars. But she's an incredible dog, super smart and I love her dearly.

She Is Just so beautiful :)
It is no longer legal to dock tales here, so our last two have tails, and not damaged them either - so far, they can turn faster too. Dobermanns are so loyal and the girls very tolerant of children, though I do not let mine sit on furniture so small children are not ousted.
Kara and Herja named after Valkeries, when younger. Once accepted, you may be at risk of being licked to death! Kara does stalk the chickens though and one time the cock was making a terrible noise I came out at speed to see what was happening and she had him in her mouth, I shouted her name she dropped him turned and started trying to remove a small feather or two from her mouth as though to say I do not know how that happened, luckily the cockerel Donald is still alive and well. His dignity was ruined for a day or so while he gave her a wide birth. Otherwise she has a wonderful nature, her sister is interested but has never tried to catch one. Smelling bums is her aim in life.LOL.

I once went to my dads friends house On an errand, and they had a Doberman’s called duke and he was big, being pretty fearless I got into playing with him and had my hands holding his teeth and playing tug, when her son came in, now he was a nice looking lad and he circled me and I thought hello have I go bo when my dads friend came in and laughed the son Had back chatted the mum and duke had taken exception , and had him up against the wall snarling into his face ..no one messes with his mum....I was amused, and even kept on playing tug....to stupid to know better lmao.
