Hello, I’m new to this forum. We have 4 Red sex- links, and 2 Rhode Island Reds pullets. We bought them at 5 months and 4 1/2 months respectively. This is our second time having birds. I plan to add 2 black astralorps in September. We are not brand new to chickens, but somewhat of novices. We use a chicken tractor. We are on our second edition chicken tractor for this bunch of chickens. The first one was too heavy for me to move, and I like it moved every day so my husband made me another light weight one. We are still tweaking it. We had a rooster our first time around, but we decided not to have one this time since we have neighbors unless we find one that is not super noisy. I hope to learn a lot from you all.
