Hello BYC community! My name is Tara and I'm new here. I've had chickens most of my life. Well, I guess when I was a kid my dad had chickens (and duck, geese, swans, quail, pheasants, peacocks, guineas, and a bunch of other birds I can't recall...). I currently have about ten Rhode Island/Ameracuana cross chickens, two Ameracaunas, and one mixed banty. I'm planning to get started breeding Holland chickens soon. I live on a farm with my husband and two boys. My husband was injured and work and left permanently disabled so we've been focusing more heavily on the farm and increasing our income and sustainability. I've attached a photo of my banty hen with some of her fresh hatchlings from this spring.
