My name is Jen and I am a new chicken and duck Mumma and have been for about a month now.
I currently have 4 chickens, I believe one is an Australorp and a leghorn and two spotted babies which the pet shop told me were something along the lines of a Belgian chicken (sorry, I know, still working this all out)!
I also have to Indian runner ducks, two Bull Matiffs, two Cocker Spaniels, two Alpacas, a cat and a corella.
Mad house this is but love every moment of it. We moved to acreage about 6 weeks ago and are loving farm life.
Every time I tried to google something about chickens BYC came and and reading the comments I found really helpful.
Thank you for accepting,

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
