My name is Sabrina, AND I live in Montgomery, TEXAS. We moved in the early weeks of the pandemic, from Houston Texas, about 90 minutes south of us. We do not currently have chickens, but are looking for a way to get them. It appears there has been a “chicken bill“ almost passed in Texas for the past two legislative sessions, only for it to stall in committee or on the floor.

HELP!!!! I ASSUME others are already working on this? I would LOVE to find out what I need to do in order to help get this passed. I have acreage, I am building on. Unfortunately it is in an area under very flimsy HOA RULES.....but HOA'S NONE THE LESS. And,my neighbor IS THE HOA. I find him almost daily walking my property. So.....while I intended to Wha ask for forgiveness, over permission, his constant presence might present an issue.
GETTING A BILL PASSED SEEMS MY ONLY SAVING GRACE.

PLEASE! Anyone who can offer advise? Or anyone I CAN HELP, please let me know

What did you ever find out about the chicken bill? I'm in an HOA in Spring and can't decide if I should go for it or if it is dead on arrival.
