I have almost always had few chickens growing up, I really enjoyed hand raising some budgies a few years ago and I got very attached to a Green Cheek Conjure. I really like birds but I dont think I want to do tropical breeds anymore.

I have 4 Road island red hens at the moment that keep me well supplied with eggs and I do enjoy walking around in the pen talking with them. I was looking into maybe getting some quail or other small meat bird so I found this site by looking that up.

I've got a small garden I'm trying to expand this year and looking into more things I can grow for my chickens.
