I've been keeping chickens for closer to 10 years now. Took a little break more recently and caught the chick bug and now have 9 baby chicks. My favorite part of owning chickens is for the fresh eggs of course haha.
My future flock consists of 2 barred rocks, 2 speckled sussex, 1 brown leghorn and 4 easter eggers.
Theyre all around 3 weeks old and still inside. I'm currently in the process of building a run for my recently purchased overez coop. My old coop has seen better days and I figured it was time to retire it.

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
