I am new here, brand new to ducks and new to chickens as of last year.
I have two cinnamon queen chickens, Bodicae and Cleopatra. I have two buff chickens, Slartibartfast and Rincewind. I have a rooster named Casey who is a silky and looks like Kenny Loggins.
My ducks are:
Chocolate runner, Godiva
Blue Swedish, Lady Macbeth and Tampopo
Buff Orpingtons, Sunny and Buffy the Slug Slayer
Rouens, Agnes and Prunella.
Actually, I dont know who is a boy or girl with the ducks. They are 6 weeks old, have most of their feathers. Nobody has a curly butt yet. I am building a system in my hoophoise to grow fodder. I want the ducks to free range like my chickens do, but I am nervous about the road in front of my house, and predators. I live in WNC, out in the middle of nowhere, so there is a lot of wildlife. Happy to be here, where people seem to know something about ducks!!
