Hello! Welcome to BYC! Are you planning to rehome some roosters?

Actually, we might! But if we do, we’re doing that on a different family members account. Not sure who though. Or we may build a bachelor flock. Any options on that?

We only have one rooster (I would love another!!! But currently I don’t think we can supply for all of them), so I don’t have any advice for a bachelor flock. I personally would try to rehome extra roosters, because you typically want a ratio of 1 rooster to at least 10 hens. If I were you, I would rehome the mean roosters. I have no experience with culling, but if that is an option for you, it may be nice to consider it. However, it’s definitely important to get rid of some roosters in some way, or your hens will get over mated...
