Hello everyone! New to chickens and have been loving this forum for information and advice, finally decided to join!
I've been in professional animal care for about 10 years now, working with everything from marine life to crocodiles, but chickens are a new adventure.
We started off with 4 Polish and 4 Silkies, and decided to add 4 more Polish to the flock (they're chicks now, but will be integrated with time!) All were straight run chicks, unfortunately 3 of our first 4 Polish turned out to be Roos, so hoping for more hens on the next set of chicks.
We also have some suspicion that the black silkie is a mix of some sort, as it's looking completely different than the other three!
