1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am new to chickens! Well.. I had chickens growing but not for probably 15 years or so, so I feel somewhat new to them. I’m finding out how little knowledge I have haha.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have eight chickens!
(3) What breeds do you have?
Olive eggers, barred rock, Rhode Island Red.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love the personality of chickens and they are so entertaining to watch
and I will love it when they start laying eggs!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I love gardening as well! Flowers and veggies.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I’m married and have a three year old son and a six month old son! Also a five year old lab/golden retriever/maremma cross, Leo. I’m a registered veterinary technician by trade but have been a SAHM for the last couple years.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC on google! And I joined so that I could glean knowledge from this community.
