Hi there! I figured I should probably add my newbie post to the mix since I’ve been asking questions 
1) Well we actually have ducks and geese (well goose currently)
(2) How many do you have right now?
(3) What breeds do you have?
we have 3 Cayuga ducks that are 3.5 months, and apparently old enough to mate as of at least today lol, one Dark Campbell that we thought was Cayuga when we got her from the breeder but turned brown instead of black. Which is fine she is just the odd duck out! She’s 6 weeks old, and her BFF is our gosling Ruby that’s 6 weeks old also. We plan to get Ruby a boyfriend when we are able to do so, just need to know what her breed is since she was sold to us as Toulouse, but she is also not what she was advertised lol.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard ducks? They’re silly and funny, and so pretty! I love watching them play in the water. I’m excited for when they start laying eggs! My gosling is so sweet and will sit in my lap, once she’s calmed down and realized I’m not trying to eat her ha!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Um, fishing, hiking, reading and gardening especially. I love my backyard garden. It’s a small raised bed and I love being in the earth and the plants.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
we also have two big dogs and a cat, the cat is pest control, my big lady is our guard down, and our little old man is our comic relief. I am married and we have a teenage son lord help us lol.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found the site when I was searching the internet to learn about my quacks. This site came up at the top of the list almost every time, so I figured I’d better join and learn! Thanks for having me!
