I only ordered 5 keets. Guess I got a bonus box.

My envisioned flock of 6 will be a flock of 9.

Please critique my care.
Unpacked them into comfortably warm brooder. Some went right to the water others needed their beak dipped. Water is coolish, not cold. Watched and made sure that all got a good drink and then gave them 30% protein Purina game bird startena.
They are on the blue paper towels made for shops. They make a strong slip proof surface.

Am I missing anything? They are relaxed enough to take scary looking naps.

Congratulations!!! That’s great that your keets drank right away and settled in! Since you asked for critiques, I’d suggest checking the temperature in several areas of the brooder, making sure you have a livestock heat bulb so it’s not Teflon coated, and consider adding Nutridrench to the water and offering separate electrolyte/probiotic water (like savachick). My impression is that shipping is particularly hard on keets, so IMO shipped keets can use some extra babying to get them past the first week or so. Congrats again on your cute new confusion of guineas!

Happy Guinea'ing,
It looks good but I'm not sure what the bedding material is in the bottom pic, but just to be safe I'd get some chick grit in case they ingest some of it.

Congratulations!
Best thing to do(besides what you’ve already done) is just keep an eye on their behavior and noise level. Not like that’s hard when a person is so excited about their new babies😉
Happy keets lay about the way yours currently are. They make low tone happy chirps when awake.
Hot keets will avoid the heat area, lay down and breath with beak open if they are that overly hot.
Cold keets pileup and will chirp very loudly.
As they get older watching their behavior will help you keep the brooder at a comfortable temp for them as they feather out🙂
