(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I got 4 chicks on September 11 and since then I have added hens and 2 pullets
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 8
(3) What breeds do you have? Barred Rock, Silver laced Wyandotte, Calico princess, Salmon Faverolle, Ameraucana
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I don't have one yet.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Quilting, crocheting
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We have 3 dogs, a cat and a macaw. I am currently retired looking for part time work, since my husband says I am to young to retire.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I happened to find it while researching breeds. I am finding answers that I didn't even know I had questions too.
