Hello All! I joined the crazy world of chicken ownership last spring. They are such a joy, but also such a mystery! I grew up on a farm and have been around animals all my life. With every other species I can usually diagnose what is wrong, not so with chickens. So far I have had a total of 17 chickens, 2 had to be rehomed as they were overly aggressive, and 3 have died. I lost one to wry neck, one to I'm not sure what, and now another is ill. I currently have 12. They have a coop that I clean daily and a fenced in 24' x 40' run I also pick up the poop in the run). I feel like I am doing everything right, but still have some issues. Hoping the other great members here can help me out.
