Welcome to BYC, fellow Floridian! If you happen to be in North Central Florida and are on Facebook, folks post chickens for rehoming all the time in a group called Backyard Chickens of Gainesville Florida from a pretty wide area, though most of it probably a little ways north from where you are. There is probably a Central Florida group as well.
