Hello, newbie here!

I am hatching some chicken eggs (4) for the first time, it is day 21 but there's no pipping or movement yet as far as I can see. I gently candelled them quickly and they have their air pockets at the top of the egg and veins look good - so I'm hoping they are gonna start later (it is 5:35PM where I am).

Attached a pic of my incubator I just took so you can see what the setup is and how the eggs are sitting. This was a project for a friend of mines terminally ill little boy who came to visit the farm I loan horses on, and the owner gave him an egg and mentioned if he kept it warm it would hatch, and he was obsessed immediately. Unfortunately, his didn't hatch and he was devastated so he asked me if I could try for him - what that sweet brave little boy wants he gets! And as he is going for another open heart surgery in March, I want to give him any happy memories I can before he has to face his operation. So I bought an incubator and here we are. When they are ready they will be going back to live on the farm with the owners flock where they can roam free once the avian flu issue in our area is resolved (she has them free range during the day then in coops at night, but some organisation has put a ban on free range until the avian flu issue is sorted or has died down, so at the moment they are in large coops all over the yard). ^_^

Thank you!

Like how much? Should I put it to 39 or 40? It is in Celsius. I'm a complete beginner so I know nothing other than what my friend who owns the yard, google and forums have told me haha. Thank you for your advice <3
Try the 39 give it the day.
