What are you wanting chickens for? Pets, eggs, meat?

I can't help much with chickens. LOL I'm totally addicted to ducks, but I sometimes think about getting some Silkie Chickens or Polish for my grandchildren. We're trying to develop some lines of ducks for showing. Hubby is building breeding pens now and has about half of them built in the barn. I've got Call Ducks, East Indies, Australian Spotted, Cayugas, Pekins, and Indian Runners. By far my favorite is the Indian Runners! There's no way you can watch them and not smile!
