Nope, not new. First flock in 4h. We've had layers,meat birds, other poultry (turkeys ducks geese rabbits) consistently for 10 years
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
2 Roosters, 8 hens, 8 pullets, 13 in the incubator
(3) What breeds do you have?
Barred rock, black Australorp, black jersey giant, silver laced wyandotte
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
EGG QUALITY!!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Rabbits for meat and fertilizer, sewing, crafts, foraging
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm an artist and chef, living with 3 generations on my family farm
