Sorry about the loss of your chick. Hope everyone else is doing fine.

One of my first hens was a Barred Rock (lovely and pleasant) and I have two Wyandottes (a Blue Laced Red and a Columbian -- their personalities are COMPLETELY different from each other) among my too-many chickens.

Kudos on the rescue dogs (I'm down to just two of those) and allowing the cat to adopt you! Sounds like she knew a kind-hearted person when she met one.

No - seemed to have been something fast and respiratory. I'll know in about 1-2 months after the necropsy results come back.
