I’ve been a member for over a year but I’m not sure if I ever made an introduction post.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I’ve had chickens since May of 2021.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have 15. 2 that are almost a year old and the others are around 2 months.

(3) What breeds do you have?
Leroy & Jolene were given to me for free from someone on nextdoor app May 2021. She said they were a barnyard mix of silkies and not sure what else. I believe Leroy is part barred rock. I have 7 offspring from them and I bought 6 chicks at tractor supply. 2 golden comets, 2 Easter eggers (hoping for blue eggs) and 2 unsexed bantams. If anyone knows what type the bantams are and what Jolene could be mixed with, I would love to know!
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They’re great company and so funny.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy doing crafts of all sorts.
