Finally posting an introduction, as I seem to be posting more frequently.

I’m 25, I have a toddler. Not new to chickens, but I swear the longer Ive had my toddler, the more I forget about EVERYTHING. So I feel like a newbie again. Please excuse any stupid questions.


I have a 12x16 coop, with a pasture for my chickens. Goats also go in my pasture, and I have ponies in an adjacent barn & pasture.

I currently have 25+ chickens. 3 silkies, 2 blue cuckoo Marans, a Fibro Easter Egger, some olive eggers, splash Marans, Barnevelder, Welsummer, Swedish Flower, Exchequer Leghorn, Egyptian Fayoumis, Polish hens, lavender Orpington, Cochin, Spitzhauben, and more various hybrids... you see, I’m going for variety.... 🤣

I’m just here for fun & learning.
 
Your flock sounds amazing; So many lovely birds and, no doubt, lovely colored eggs!

How do your goats and chickens get along in the same pasture? A few of my chickens have decided to invade the miniature goats' pasture -- where the horned ones do not enjoy having visitors at all. I especially worry that one of the Bantams will end up under a hoof or speared by my foul-tempered wether.
