First time chicken owners here in the PNW. We started with two baby doll sheep and the following week while at TSC I saw they had baby chicks! I fell victim. So in one weekend hubby had to build the sheep pen and the chicken coop. We ended up with 5 chicks..I originally wanted just 4 but the lady said we might get a rooster so you might want one more. We got 2 Bantams 2 Ameraucana and I'm not sure what the 5th one is. Hopefully they're all hens! The sheep absolutely love the chickens and our 10 year old pitbull is amazing with the sheep. We have friends that have a ton of chickens and any time we go over there he never messes with them so I look forward to how he'll do with ours!
