Hi, all!
Glad to be here (Again).
It's been years since I've been here, so, in essence, I suppose I'm a newbie all over again; complete with a brand new account since I can't remember my old log-in credentials lol
I am 44-year-old mama to 3 awesome kids and we are currently in the home buying process on a house that comes with almost a half acre lot. This means we will, once again, be able to have backyard chickens!! This is SO exciting for us.
We plan on 5 EE hens, 1 EE roo, and 1 Silkie hen (undecided on black or white) for our backyard flock.

Edited to add: I've changed my mind (will this happen again? probably lol). We may not get a rooster (though I would love to, our city doesn't allow them, I would have to be secretive about it and how secretive can a rooster be??). We are going with 4 EEs and 3 Salmon Faverolles
