Hello, my name is Lucy and I'm new here
Looking forward to info, help and sharing stories..

1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I used to have Chickens in Germany a few years ago, but had to move after owning them for only about 6 month or so..
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have 16 chickens at the moment, none of them are laying yet, they are between 13 and 19 weeks old
(3) What breeds do you have? I have 6 Black Star hens, 3 buff orpington hens, 1 Silky hen and 1 silky rooster, 5 Brabanters, not sure on their sex 100%
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? They are therapy to me
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Anything outdoors, reading, researching

Welcome to BYC!! Our family just moved to Germany! I haven’t looked up any local laws, but do you know if chickens are allowed in-town in Edelsfeld?
