(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I’ve been raising chickens for about 2 years and 7 months.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
19-ish.

(3) What breeds do you have?
5 Brown Bovans (basically ISA Browns; red sexlinks), 4 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Amberlinks, 1 Rhode Island Red, 1 Golden Duckwing Standard Old English, 1 Starlight Green Egger, 1 Midnight Majesty Maran, 1 White Crested Black Polish, 1 Golden Duckwing/Buff Orpington cross, 1 Brown Bovan/Golden Duckwing cross, 1 Barred rock.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I like to watch my birds (both ducks and chickens). I also enjoy their eggs.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy spending time in our little “pasture” with my goats, ducks, and chickens. I also like to garden, knit, create SVG and PNG designs, make Cricut projects, spending time with my family, makeup artistry, and I’m a vehicle enthusiast.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We are a family of three. We have 4 goats, 10 ducks, about 19 chickens, 4 dogs, 1 cat, and 1 bunny.


(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I’ve came across this page several times; just about every time I Google search a chicken-related question.
