Hello!

I'm a new chicken owner. I got 4 pullets last summer and love having chickens in my back yard. My daughter's also love them and help take care of them with my help.

We began out flock with a black Australorp (Sparkles), a Rhode island red (Reba), a cuckoo maran (Sunny), and an Easter egger who passed away this summer but was a lovely little bird and is missed (Henrietta)

This summer we started raising a small brood of 4 speckled Sussex chicks from a day old. They are incredibly fun!!

Our Sheppard mix (Dovah) likes to sniff around curiously by the chicken run but never chases the hens when they leave their pen

I've learned a lot from this forum and joined to ask questions.

Cheers!
