Here are the ones I caught in a picture the other day. Our roo is always out on top of a shed or in a tree when I get home so I got to catch him out on a weekend. The reds are still brooder chicks. They’re living with two Pekin ducklings at the moment. Pekins are new to us, we’ve had mallards in the past. When the pond dried up this summer we took them to our lake house. We have one lone lavender orp hen (orpie). She’s extremely docile and likes to stowaway in my farm truck when I’ve got a window down.Welcome to BYC! We would love to see pictures of your flock.
Glad to meet you. Best wishes with your flock and all your plans. I enjoyed that tractor repair is one of your hobbies. I can just imagine.
