Welcome. So happy to meet another person who has an Akita. Here is my boy, Yoshi.(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My family raised some chickens and turkeys growing up but I wasn't hands on at the time. I plan to get my pullets once the coop comes in.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None yet
(3) What breeds do you have?
I hope to get some Rhode Island Reds and buff Orpingtons.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I know what my chickens eat and where my eggs came from.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Reading, sewing.
