Hi All! T-minus a few days until I'm a backyard chicken owner. The journey started when my two little boys asked for dinosaurs... so I got the next best thing (that's approved by the missus). I've been fond of chickens for quite some time and have been looking to own a small flock for many years. Since we recently moved to the suburbs, that dream can finally be a reality. Through BYC, I hope to learn as much as I can in order to provide the best care for the chickens and the most enjoyment for the family.
