Hello, thank you for letting me join. I am new to backyard chicken keeping. I’m in eastern PA. I currently do not have any chickens (still doing research). I would like heritage varieties of laying hens. I am a retired biology teacher and would love to have my own, non-medicated eggs. I enjoyed gardening but have been unable to do as much as I used to due to health issues. I have dogs and an African Grey. I found your site because I found a diy coop that would fit in seamlessly in my yard and would like the plans.
I look forward to learning new and valuable info for my soon to be chickens.
