I believe I used to have an account here but I can’t remember what email or pass I used so here we go again! I had a wonderful flock 8 years ago and upon moving into a new house, next to a new housing development, a displaced Bobcat broke into my coop and ate all of my chickens in one night. I was devastated. Since then I was afraid to get a new flock, but my sweet husband is helping me build a predator proof coop and run and since the bobcat has not been spotted in several years I think the new flock should be ok. My new flock will be assorted heavy breeds and EEs, along with a few Polish and silkies. I’m happy to be back on and look forward to connecting will all the helpful and knowledgeable Chicken lovers here at Backyard Chickens.

Best of luck getting started again!
So sorry for your losses. Can't wait to see pictures of your new flock and coop.
